An Air Force friend and I watched your Farewell performance at the Cleveland Air Show Sept. 2nd. It was unfortunate we did not get to meet you, we missed you by less than a minute: but we want to thank you for all you've done for women in flight and for retiring on your terms, your time, your way, as your crew chief so accurately put it. Best wishes!

Julie it was a pleasure meeting you again and seeing your performances over the years, the Cleveland Air Show will never be the same. You're one of the reasons I learned to fly and I strive to be as smooth and professional every flight because of you. Thank you so much! Bill Fernandez

I saw Julie Clark for the first time yesterday at the Cleveland Air Show. Her story & aviating prowess is so inspiring and jaw dropping. After her performance I had to find her and just give her a hug for the tears that were brought to my eyes with her performance & to tell her how inspired I was by watching her show. I will never forget it and I wish you well in your air show retirement Julie and know you will continue to inspire generations of all kind. Thank you!!

Obtaining a pilot’s license is quite an ordeal and a dedication of both time and finances. When I was getting my license, I took a phase check with a flight instructor who was not very good. The experience was very discouraging and made me feel as though I was not cut out to live out my lifelong dream of being a pilot. A few days later Julie Clark spoke at the Air and Space Museum in Washington. A few of my flying friends were going and encouraged me to come along. Reluctantly I went. When I heard Julie speak about her experiences of becoming one of the first women airline pilots and the struggles she had I realized mine were not as bad as I thought and I persevered and obtained my license. I eventually went on to obtain ratings for Airplane Single Engine Land and Sea and Multiengine Land. Had it not been for Julie Clark I probably would not have gotten my license. As Julie retires from the airshow world, I would like to say, Thank you Julie.

Hello Julie, Congratulations on accomplishing such great and successful careers! I have watched your performances for as long as you have been flying them! When I have the chance to see an air show the first thing I do is look for your name on the program. Definitely my favorite routine, performed with grace and beauty in one of my favorite airplanes. Wish you the best of whatever comes in the future.

Watched you do your airshow many times when I was living in the Bay Area, back when your sponsor was Mopar. Got an autographed pic, too. Tailwinds on your retirement. Love you for animal rescue.

Julie, My Dad and I always enjoyed your T-34 shows at OSH, the beautiful smooth flying and inspiring patriotic music. All I can say is Thank You! I joined EAA in '78, about the same time you started performing. I will cherish watching my video of your show.

Hi Julie, I met you and your puppy. While I was next to the signature area, I was delighted to meet and speak to you at length about flying and such. I was quite surprised when you not only told me you were retiring but your age. You are the most beautiful aerobatic pilot I have ever had the opportunity to meet! My time speaking with you was the highlight of my "Southern Most Airshow" experience. Sincerely, Lance Bottari

Hi Julie, I can't believe how fast time has passed since the last time I saw you perform many many years ago. Do you remember me? We went to Ogden "for the halibut" and then on to Oshkosh. By coincidence I happened to be in Glen Cove when you performed at Jones Beach, but of course you didn't land there, so I didn't get a chance to speak with you. Last time we spoke was at the Stockton Airshow when I introduced you to my teenage nephew. He is now a grown man with a wife and three children. I missed you at the 2012 Santa Rosa Airshow, which was so close to were I was living at the time. Anyway, if you do remember me, perhaps we can chat at your farewell show. As I write that I can't believe how time flew. (no pun intended) Unfortunately, I have had some medical issues and hope to be well enough by October to go to Rancho Murieta. I still have my Mt Rushmore pics, they bring back wonderful memories.

Julie, Somehow I've missed you over the years unfortunately. I was glad to see you perform this past weekend at MCAS Beaufort SC. You have one of the coolest paint jobs I've seen on any T-34. We passed each other just outside the hangar Saturday. I work with Jim Tobul at his SC hangar and was there to help support him and his Corsair. Thanks for a great performance and a great show.
